Saiga Triggerguards & Conversion Kits

Saiga-12 Triggerguard left, other Saigas right - click pics for more pics and information!

Why do you need these? These triggerguards will save a lot of time & hassle. You simply remove the factory receiver plate/triggerguard assembly, and bolt this one on. No messing with the triggerguard spotweld or reshaping the existing triggerguard, etc.

The conversion kits add the necessary hardware and drills to do the full pistol grip conversion yourself. You only then need to select the correct Fire Control Group, pistol grip and buttstock. Everything else is included here!

Converting A Saiga - Rough Overview

Sheik's Saiga Conversion

Sheik Yerbouti's Saiga Conversion website is a great start if you are looking to convert a Saiga yourself, specifically a Saiga rifle. Keep in mind this was created some time ago and some of the material may be a little dated. There's much respect due to him for his time and energy invested in getting all this data assembled and uploaded.

Step # 1 - Remove the 2 rear pins and completely disassemble.

Step # 2 - Remove the bottom receiver plate/triggerguard and cut PG nut hole.

Step # 3 - Paint receiver bottom and reassemble.

**For all models requiring a pistol grip nut hole be cut, download the Receiver Template here.
