Most Saigas have an internal bolt hold open (BHO) lever. If your weapon does not have one or you are not reinstalling it, select the Non-BHO Link in the chart below and we will send a hammer without that modification.

The Saiga-308 FCG has many extra modifications to address issues such as the extra gap in trigger hole, oversized bolt, receiver cross member and safety lever engagement. You may need to file a little off the welded up pad on the RH trigger leg for proper safety engagement. Also the supplied washer is to be installed on the RH side of the trigger body with the trigger pin going through it.

Optional - you may notch the safety lever tang to clear the disconnector to make the safety lever reinstall easier. Otherwise you need to leave the trigger pin out of the RH side of the receiver until the safety lever is reinstalled.

All the Saiga FCG's have the parting lines removed and contacting surfaces polished for super smooth cycling and improved reliability. They also include a disconnector spring and hitch pin clips to retain the FCG pins. These count as 3 compliance parts.

Saiga Factory Config

The Saiga factory config FCG's count as 2 compliance parts, the disconnector and hammer, which are marked USA. The trigger block is included, but the trigger has been milled off.

We do not offer a factory config FCG for the Saiga-308 due to the complex geometry required. Your best bet for improving the pull and angle is to do the pistol grip conversion or simply send us your factory parts for polishing.

VEPR FCG's

New in stock are these VEPR fire control groups for all VEPR weapons including 5.45x39, .223, 7.62x39, .308, 7.62x54r and 12 gauge.

They are currently made from Tapco G2 Fcg's.

Red Star Arms Adjustable FCG's

These are for standard AK's. These will not work in Saigas unless they are modified to fit.

This trigger group is adjustable for Pretravel, Overtravel, Disconnector Engagement, and Trigger Pull. Depending on your preference and application, it can be adjusted for Single Stage or 2-Stage pull.

Package includes heat treated blued hammer, trigger, and disconnector, along with a US made Wolff disconnector spring, and a cheater pin which holds the trigger and disconnector together while installing the parts in your rifle. Allen wrench is included for adjustment, loctite for the screws and detailed instructions for installing and adjusting your trigger group. All parts are CNC machined from solid steel barstock, and the three piece group will count as 3 US parts.

Tapco AK47 FCG's

Single hook left, double hook right

These Tapco fire control groups are for standard AK's. These will not work in Saigas unless they are modified to fit.

All G2 components are heat treated to a 45-48C Rockwell hardness and manufactured with tough 4140 tool-grade carbon steel. The “No fumble” trigger sleeve allows you to assemble the trigger group outside the rifle and drop it in as one piece. Each piece is finished in a military grade dark black oxide. These FCG's count as 3 compliance parts and are available in single hook and double hook and do not include a disconnector spring.

Single Hook vs Double Hook

Here's the difference between single and double hook receiver cuts. The Saigas are set up for single-hook. Otherwise if you want to use a double hook you need to cut the additional relief in the receiver or remove the bottom of one of the trigger hooks.

Double Hook Trigger means the trigger has 2 hooks that engage the hammer. Only Tapco offers these. IMHO, double hooks offer no extra advantage, but some customers prefer them so we offer them. Arsenal and Red Star Arms adjustable FCG's are only available as single hooks.
