This bullet guide is for the round trunnion .223 Saiga rifles. Installation of this guide allows your rifle to accept and feed high capacity AK magazines. This is the guide, screw and allen wrench only, no drill or tap. Requires #8-32 drill & tap. This guide has been redesigned and is now milled from heavy wall pipe to give it a round shaped bottom. The previous design was made from flat strip stock. This design allows feeding of the galil orlite magazines in addition to most AK-74 and. 223 magazines.(note: pic may not reflect actual geometry)

The front trunnion is the block of steel riveted in the front of the receiver that the barrel is pressed into. The round description comes from the shape of the area immediately below the chamber face.

Bullet guide installed properly. You may find it beneficial to insert a magazine first before drilling to ensure proper alignment between the guide and mags. The ramped end of the guide goes towards the magwell and the small lip end tucks under the barrel face.
