This AK gas tube has been machined specifically for the standard Saiga .308 Rifle as well as the newer 100 series 30-06 & 308 and the VEPR 308. Installation of this gas tube allows your rifle to accept regular unmodified AK upper handguards. The tubes I have been getting lately are the vented type with the ports up front, but down the road they may not.

This pic shows the gas tube installed. Also, with the use of an AK lower handguard retainer (See AKBOR2), it's a great way to add U.S. made handguards for one additional compliance part. Install/Removal is the same as the factory gas tube. You remove the bolt carrier, release the rear sight block locking lever, remove the tube, insert the new tube, lock the lever, reassemble the rifle.
