This bullet guide is for the flat trunnion 7.62x39 Saiga rifles with a rivet hole. Installation of this guide allows your rifle to accept and feed high capacity AK magazines. This is for the guide, screw, nut and allen wrench. You will not need a drill & tap for the install. (note: pic does not show the nut or longer screw)

A very limited number of these rifles have shown up with a rivet hole drilled in the trunnion. Also there has been a wide variation on the hole diameter. To install, remove the handguard to get access to the bottom of the trunnion from the front of the rifle. Hold the nut with a pair of pliers and insert it in the front of the rifle. Then drop the guide and screw in place and tighten.

The front trunnion is the block of steel riveted in the front of the receiver that the barrel is pressed into. The flat-cut description comes from the shape of the area immediately below the chamber face. (shown with rivet hole)

Note: the step of the guide goes under the barrel and the thick end goes towards the magwell. I do not have a pic, but if you install one, please send me a copy.
